Coaxial valves
and solenoid valves

Application:For industrial applications where:
  • high pressure, high viscosity, abrasive or aggressive fluids/gases or turbid liquid are used
  • space is limited

the coaxial valve design is the solution for 2 or 3 way compact valves with high flow rate and low pressure drop characteristics.

Working principle

The tube movement can be achieved with an electromagnetic (see above) or a pneumatic (see below) actuator. In both cases, the valves are direct operated.

Range:

A complete range of valves and solenoid valves with brass or stainless steel body, G3/8 to G1 connections and orifice size 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm.

General features :

Valve Solenoid valve
Lifetime / reliability Coaxial valves have an impressive service life by their, heavy duty construction, their technology without stuffing box and by their counterbalanced pressure system.
Over 6 million operations (with water)

Excellent resistance to chemical agressivity Parts in contact with the fluid are in stainless steel 304, 316 and 316L. Parts in contact with the fluid are in stainless steel 304, 316 and 316L.
No fluid contact with the electro-magnetic element.
High viscosity Valves designed to control high viscosity liquids (6000 cSt when piloting with a 5/2 spool valve). Solenoid valves designed to control high viscosity liquids (500 cSt).
Wide range of pressure Valves and solenoid valves are able to work with high-vacuum (10-4 mbar) and up to 40 bar
Fast response time 35 ms: For the valve to be opened (60 ms when closing) with a G 1/2 connection 45 ms: For the valve to be opened (70 ms when closing) with a G 3/8 connection
Back-pressure 12 bar with 3/2 spool valve
40 bar with 5/2 spool valve
Up to 12 bar
Dimensions / mounting The space is saved as the operator is in the same axis as the fluid passage. It is possible to mount the valve in any position. The space is saved as the coil is in the same axis as the fluid passage. It is possible to mount the solenoid valve in any position.
