With Compact 8 it's easy to change from multiwire connection with Sub-D connector to filedbus protocol, just replacing the ends. Spool valves are able to operate whatever the electrical connection.

Fieldbus ends are available with Profibus DP, AS interface, DeviceNet and CANopen protocols, have the same dimensions and use the same fixing points.

No mechanical modification are needed on your machine.
